Debuff Reducer is a 1,600-soul vitality item that shortens every negative effect on you by 25% and adds bonus health. It’s one of the most-recommended counter items on this site because so many kits rely on stuns, slows and silences.

When to buy Debuff Reducer#

  • The enemy has two or more stuns, roots or silences you keep getting caught by.
  • You plan to buy Unstoppable later — this is its component, so nothing is wasted.
  • You’re a frontliner who has to walk into crowd control.

When to skip it#

  • The enemy team has little crowd control — the health alone isn’t worth the slot.

What it doesn’t do#

  • It doesn’t shorten the stun you get from being parried.
  • The wiki notes Knockdown’s stun isn’t affected by debuff resist.
  • It shortens effects; it doesn’t prevent them. For immunity you need Unstoppable’s active.

FAQ#

Is Debuff Reducer worth it early?

Against crowd-control-heavy teams, yes — it’s cheap, adds health and upgrades into Unstoppable.

Does it stack with Unstoppable?

Unstoppable upgrades from it, so you don’t hold both — Unstoppable keeps the debuff resist and adds more.
