Lash’s main threat#
Lash is a diver: closes distance fast to reach the enemy back line.
The kit is spirit-leaning, so spirit resistance and spirit shields do the most to blunt it.
Abilities to play around#
Ability 1
Ground Strike
Stomps the ground to damage enemies in front of Lash. Casting it mid-air sends him diving quickly toward the ground.
Play around it Respect its range and cooldown; fight when it’s been used.
Ability 2
Grapple
Pulls Lash through the air toward a target and resets his air jumps and dashes.
Play around it Disable or displacement — this is what starts kills. Track its cooldown and punish the window after it’s used; Debuff Reducer shortens it, and Unstoppable or Indomitable answer the biggest ones.
Play around it Mobility — it’s also the escape. Don’t chase it into their team; force it out first, then commit. Slowing Hex shuts down many movement abilities.
Ability 3
Flog
Whips enemies in front of Lash, healing him for a portion of the damage dealt.
Play around it Healing or sustain — buy healing reduction (Healbane, Toxic Bullets or Decay) so it’s worth less, and focus burst damage rather than chip damage.
Ultimate
Death Slam
Connects his whips to focused enemies, then lifts, stuns and slams them into the ground, damaging and slowing them and nearby foes.
Play around it Disable or displacement — this is what starts kills. Track its cooldown and punish the window after it’s used; Debuff Reducer shortens it, and Unstoppable or Indomitable answer the biggest ones.
Play around it Slows — Enduring Speed and Debuff Reducer help you walk out of it.
