Spirit item · 6,400 souls
Ethereal Shift is a 6,400-soul spirit item. Its active puts you in a void state where you can’t be damaged for 4 seconds, then gives a short buff. It’s a panic button against burst and big ultimates, but you can’t act while shifted.

When to buy Ethereal Shift#
- The enemy has a burst ultimate or combo that deletes you.
- You need to wait out damage while teammates or cooldowns come back.
- You play a spirit hero who benefits from the post-shift buff.
When to skip it#
- Your team needs you to keep doing damage — you can’t attack while shifted.
- The threat is sustained damage over a long time, not a burst.
What it doesn’t do#
- It cancels any channelled ability you’re casting.
- It doesn’t reset your jump or dash.
- The wiki notes Nurse Harrow’s Specter Crash damage isn’t blocked.
