What this site is
Simlocks is an independent, fan-made information site about Valve’s game Deadlock. We write guides, explainers and troubleshooting pages for players.
We are not affiliated with Valve. We don’t distribute the game, invites, keys or accounts, and nothing on this site grants access to Deadlock. Access is managed by Valve through Steam — see how Deadlock invites work.
About the artwork
Hero portraits, hero icons, ability and item icons, hero background art, the in-game minimap and gameplay screenshots are official Deadlock assets, © Valve Corporation. They are shown only to identify the heroes, abilities, items and places these guides describe. The painted skyline, map schematics, wallpapers and site logo are original artwork made for this site.
Editorial policy
- Dated and patch-stamped. Every guide shows when it was last checked.
- Verified before stated. Facts come from Valve’s own pages, the official changelog and in-game testing. When sources disagree or a value is out of date, we say so.
- Pending, not guessed. If we haven’t verified something yet, the page says so with a dashed “pending” label.
- No copied content. We don’t reuse competitor text, tables, images or layouts, and we don’t present unofficial art as official.
- No boosting, account selling, invite selling or VPN/booster promotion.
How we keep game data current
Hero kits, item lists and change histories are re-checked after every patch, and each page shows when it was last checked. Role and damage labels are our own editorial classification. See every page.
Credits and licences
Deadlock, its heroes, artwork and game images are © Valve Corporation. Some hero tips and descriptions are adapted from the Deadlock Wiki, whose text is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0; those adapted passages are shared under the same licence.
Corrections
Found something out of date? Patch changes move fast; we re-check pages after every update that touches them. Send corrections through the contact page.
