How the analysis works

The read is rule-based and uses our editorial role labels plus a keyword scan of every ability. The rules:

• Front line — Brawlers, Divers and Initiators start fights and absorb pressure. None at all is flagged as a gap.
• Damage — Carries, Marksmen, Mages, Assassins and Skirmishers. Fewer than two is flagged.
• Control — Controllers and Initiators, plus heroes whose kits stun, silence or disarm. Fewer than two control tools is flagged.
• Sustain — Supports, or at least two kits with healing. No sustain is flagged.
• Damage mix — five or more heroes leaning the same way (spirit or weapon) lets the enemy stack one resistance type.
• Suggestions — heroes not in your team whose role fills the biggest gap, preferring ones that balance your damage mix.

Treat it as a checklist, not a verdict: a team with “gaps” can still win with good play.
