Haze’s main threat#

Haze is a assassin: finds isolated targets, deletes them and leaves before the enemy team can answer.
The kit is weapon-leaning, so bullet resistance and weapon shields do the most to blunt it.
Abilities to play around#
Ability 1
Sleep Dagger
Throws a dagger that damages and puts the target to sleep. Sleeping targets wake up shortly after taking damage.
Play around it Disable or displacement — this is what starts kills. Track its cooldown and punish the window after it’s used; Debuff Reducer shortens it, and Unstoppable or Indomitable answer the biggest ones.
Ability 2
Smoke Bomb
Makes Haze invisible and grants sprint speed. Attacking removes invisibility, while using items does not, and close enemies can still see her.
Play around it Mobility — it’s also the escape. Don’t chase it into their team; force it out first, then commit. Slowing Hex shuts down many movement abilities.
Ability 3
Fixation
Increases Haze's bullet damage against a target she keeps shooting. Headshots grant more stacks than body hits.
Play around it Respect its range and cooldown; fight when it’s been used.
Ultimate
Bullet Dance
Enters a flurry that fires at nearby enemies with perfect accuracy and added bullet damage.
Play around it Respect its range and cooldown; fight when it’s been used.
Counter items, with reasons#

General answers are our editorial reading of the kit. Counter items only help if you’re the one being hit — buy for the threat you actually face.
How to beat Haze#
Mistakes to avoid
- Walking alone through the districts when they’re missing from the map.
- Using your escape before they’ve committed.
