How the simulator works
- Unique picks — a hero can only be on one team.
- Free mode — click a team to make it active, then pick for it in any order.
- Alternating mode — a simple snake order (A, B, B, A, A, B …) for practice. This is not Deadlock’s matchmaking or hero-selection system; it’s a drill.
- Summary — each side gets the same rule-based read as the team builder, plus counter items that answer the most enemy heroes and the defensive stats their damage mix calls for.
Game data checked 27 Oct 2026. Hero kits and counter notes come from the same data as our hero and counter guides; roles and damage leans are our editorial labels, not official Valve classes. This tool runs entirely on this website — it does not connect to the game, Steam or your match history.
