How combos work in Deadlock#
A combo is a sequence where one effect sets up the next: a stun that makes a slow skillshot land, a pull that drags a target into your team’s damage, or a slow that keeps someone inside an area effect. The combos below are based on how each kit works (27 Oct 2026). Practise them in the sandbox before relying on them in a match.
Hero combos#
| Hero | Combo | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Haze | Smoke Bomb → Sleep Dagger → gunfire | Approach unseen, put the target to sleep, then open fire at close range. |
| Abrams | Shoulder Charge into a wall → Seismic Impact | Pinning a hero against a wall stuns them, making the slam easy to land. |
| Holliday | Spirit Lasso + Bounce Pad | Bounce Pad extends Lasso’s duration. |
| Seven | Static Charge → Storm Cloud | The stun holds enemies inside the cloud. |
| Deadman Danny | Strix Salvo mark → charged shot | The charged shot consumes the mark for bonus damage and a slow. |
| The Doorman | Call Bell slow → Hotel Guest | A slowed target is less likely to check out of the hotel in time. |
| Lady Geist | Malice stacks → Soul Exchange → Essence Bomb | Malice amplifies her damage; swapping health at the right moment sets up the kill. |
| Paradox | Pulse Grenade stacks → Paradoxical Swap | Stack damage amplification, then drop the target into your team. |
Lane-partner combos#
Teamfight combos#
- Group, then hit: Dynamo’s Singularity pulls and stuns enemies together — follow with area damage such as Seven’s Storm Cloud or Pocket’s Barrage.
- Save, then reset: Kelvin’s Frozen Shelter or Viscous’s The Cube buys time for an ally to recover.
- Portal plays: The Doorman’s Luggage Cart can pull enemies through an open Doorway.
- Delivery: Ivy’s Air Drop carries an ally into the middle of the enemy team.
Communicate the start
Team combos fail when the setup lands and nobody follows. Ping or call your ultimate before you use it.
