Where the Midboss is#

The Midboss lives in the sewer below Broadway, the middle lane, near Times Square. It has a lot of health, a regenerating shield and a strong laser — don’t try it alone early.

The 30 Oct 2026 update made the pit slightly bigger with more cover and made the boss tougher: 20% more health (and health growth), resistance-reducing effects only half as effective against it, and its roar now triggers at 25% health instead of 50%.

Spawn and respawn timers#

  • After its first kill it respawns in 7 minutes, then 6, then 5 for each later kill.
  • The first spawn time is still being confirmed; check the in-game timer.

The Rejuvenator#

Since the 30 Oct 2026 update, killing the Midboss drops the Rejuvenator as three crystals at random spots around the pit, instead of one in the centre. Either team can claim them — kill the boss and lose the crystals and you’ve done the enemy a favour.

  • Each crystal breaks with one heavy melee and gives the breaker’s team 1 Rejuvenator — still 3 in total per kill.
  • Breaking a crystal fully heals you, and that now happens for every crystal, not just the first.
  • The breaker also gets a bounty of 500 souls (+9 per minute).
  • The crystals take 7.5 seconds to drop (was 6).
  • The kill itself pays less: 1,500 souls (+25 per minute), down from 3,000 (+50 per minute).

The Rejuvenator works as a team safety net: dead players can be resurrected, using up the team’s credits. Exact effects change with patches, so read the in-game description.

When to take it — and when not to#

  • Take it after winning a fight, when several enemies are dead or far away.
  • Take it before a base push, so a lost fight doesn’t end your game.
  • Don’t take it when the enemy team is alive and nearby — they’ll steal crystals or fight you at low health.
  • Spread out after the kill — three crystals land in different spots, and each one is a separate fight. Losing one or two hands the enemy part of your reward.
