Sensitivity converter#
How the conversion works#
Each game turns one mouse “count” into a fixed rotation (its yaw value) multiplied by your sensitivity. To keep the same physical distance per full turn, multiply your sensitivity by the other game’s yaw and divide by Deadlock’s:
Deadlock sens = other sens × other yaw ÷ 0.044
| Game | Yaw (°/count) | Multiplier to Deadlock |
|---|---|---|
| Counter-Strike 2 | 0.022 | × 0.5 |
| Valorant | 0.07 | × 1.591 |
| Overwatch 2 | 0.0066 | × 0.15 |
| Apex Legends | 0.022 | × 0.5 |
Deadlock’s yaw is community-measured
Valve doesn’t publish yaw values. The 0.044 figure (a CS2 sensitivity of 1.5 becomes 0.75 in Deadlock) comes from community converters, checked 27 Oct 2026. If a patch changes it, we’ll update the tool.
Finding a comfortable sensitivity#
Deadlock is a third-person shooter with lots of vertical movement, so many players run slightly faster turns than in a tactical shooter. Start from your converted value, then adjust in the sandbox: you should be able to turn around comfortably in one swipe and still track a strafing target at mid range. Change in small steps and give each change a few games.
